Slowtelling
It was evening,
Laughter flew like shooting stars.
She saw, and smiled.
The wonderful experience we have in our favourite timeless books or games remind us of precious moments - with family we know as friends and friends we know as family.
In each of these scenes I hope you discover memories that make you smile, and create new ones as you fill the pages. When you return again, and again the book will capture all of those times of togetherness pressed between the pages, ready to be pulled out.
Bear: "Bunny if you had one moment you could re-live anytime you wanted, what would it be?"
Bunny: "Ice cream, no... sunset, no - wait! When we ate our sandwiches on the shoreline. That's the moment I choose."
Bear: *Quietly* "I agree."
This is the book you create with your loved ones, the youngest pull it out to make up new bedtime stories, and the one your mother uses to remind you of how you were when growing up. When you read it you see yourself living the sweet memory of an ordinary day you might have forgotten if not for that moment which stood out, and the warmth of that memory fills your heart.
Quietly musing,
A fond first date went like that,
Love like sunlight's warmth.
Analogue activities are often the ones drawing us back into intentional, unhurried relationship, simply being present with one another. Coming back to the kitchen table for conversation and shared moments is more precious than ever as time flies.
Bunny: "I think I am a little tired but I don't want today to ever end."
Bear: "Tomorrow we will have a new lovely day and still have today in our hearts."
